Interesting and rare pair of Salvator Rosa frames. Carved wood, water gilding in pure gold. Rebate, band and throat profile; the profile slopes outwards and is embellished with a red lacquer finish. Bologna, 17th century Light cm 196 x 133 Total size cm  228 x 165 Band cm 16 Excellent state of preservation; one of the two has some wear to the gilding at the top.
