Rare center table, entirely veneered and threaded in burr walnut, maple, and various woods. Central bulbous support, supported by a tripod base. The top is centered by a medallion depicting Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821). Height cm 76 Diameter cm 121 The table can certainly be attributed to the production of cabinetmaker Vincenzo Mari, active in Rolo in the 19th century. The workshop of cabinetmaker Vincenzo Mari (1802-1888) was one of the most prolific in Rolo in the second half of the 19th century, and documentary sources attribute to him an innovative role with the introduction of mosaic decoration on the table tops. Vincenzo Mari made use of the collaboration of his four sons: Alfonso, Pietro, Ugone, and Ilarione. For comparisons The art of inlay in Rolo.
