Elegant drop-front desk with a raised superstructure.
The piece of furniture, with three drawers and resting on curved supports, features a triple curved front and a double curved side.
The shaped lid conceals a cabinet featuring a central door, two curved drawers, and two open compartments.
The upper section is characterized by an elegantly shaped tympanum and two doors concealing an open compartment divided into sections and three drawers at the base.
At the center of the pediment, we find an original acid-etched mirror with a floral motif. The doors feature coeval and original acid-etched mirrors.
At the base of the superstructure there are two small drawers used at that time as candle holders.
The piece of furniture, entirely veneered in walnut and burr walnut, highlights the use of end-grain wood.
The furniture is completely original, in its original patina and features coeval hardware.
